Dear Readers,

Welcome to my author website! I'm thrilled to embark on this new adventure with you all. As I sit down to write this first blog post, I find myself reflecting on the journey that has led me here, to this moment.

I've always been drawn to the wilderness all over the world. I've never been one for 5 star hotels, but would prefer popping a tent, making a fire and roasting marshmallows under the stars. Recently, my journey has taken me to the untamed beauty of the Northwoods of Minnesota. It's a place that holds a special kind of magic, where the whisper of the wind through the trees and the call of the loons on the lake can stir something deep within your soul.

It was in this wilderness that the idea for my debut novel, "Ember of the Woods," was born. The story of a young girl who loses her mother and finds herself on a journey of self-discovery in the rugged wilderness of Minnesota. It's a story that is deeply personal to me, as it explores themes of loss, grief, and the healing power of nature.

As I begin work on the second book in the series, I find myself once again seeking inspiration in the wilderness. This time, Ember will take on a whole new kind of adventure that you're just going to have to read about.

I can't wait to see where this new adventure takes me, and I'm excited to share it with all of you.
